Sports Scandals and Inferno 17

“Amid the many reactions to the brouhaha caused by the circumstances surrounding the firing of Lazio’s falconer, Juan Bernabé, this Italian sports website noted with much amusement that Dante had predicted everything and that the present-day episode has resonances with the 17th Canto of Inferno.”    –-Rachel Catherine Pratt

–Stefano Boldrini, Il Fatto Quotidiano, January 14, 2025
