Dante Finance, $Dante Cryptocurrency (2022)
Dante Finance is a Tomb finance fork project launched in 2022. As they explain on their site and in their blog on Medium, they planned to release NFTs based on Dante’s Inferno.
They described the inspiration for the project as follows: “Dante Finance was born from inspiration of the Italian literary classic The Divine Comedy. A story that perhaps you will all know, which describes Dante’s travels through Hell, Purgatory and Eden.
“To us this story seemed perfect to combine with the mechanics of tomb finance, where the pegging of a token fluctuates below peg (Hell) to above peg (Eden).” —“Dante Finance,” Medium (February 28, 2022)
